Today, 50% of Condat pulp purchases come from certified forests. Suppliers without certification must be able to prove that the wood they use comes from responsibly and lawfully managed forests.
Our clients are also increasingly concerned about environmental issues. After obtaining its ISO 14001 certification in 2000, Condat received EMAS registration in 2005 and implemented Chain of Custody for pulp and paper in compliance with PEFC and FSC standards in March 2006.

The company’s purchasing policy is based on this principle and, by limiting the number of its suppliers, it can partner them in their efforts to make regular and constant progress.
