« Art for all » Comes to Lyon with the support of Condat and Malmenayde

Highlighting graphic designers of yesterday and today

From October 15th 2010 till February 13th 2011, the Printing Museum of Lyon will welcome the exhibition ART FOR ALL. 86 posters from the collections of the Yale Center for Bristish Art (University of Yale, Connecticut, USA), commissioned between 1908 and 1960 to the finest graphic designers and artists by London Transport and the Railway Companies, will be exposed. 8 posters will be also displayed as a preamble, designed in 2008, by contemporary international graphic designers on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the SNCF (FRENCH NATIONAL RAILWAY COMPANY).

A catalogue printed on Condat Matt Périgord

In this occasion, a catalogue fully illustrated is published. It contains specialists' contributions on urban and transport art and sociology. This catalogue is printed on Condat matt Périgord 135gr and 350gr, with the support of Condat and the French merchant Malmenayde.

Condat matt Périgord, the bulky matt, is ideal for the printing of Fine art books and catalogues. Its high fibre composition gives it a very high level of bulk that guarantees volume and strength to the books. Its extra matt finish brings nice contrasts and fine definition to drawings.

This partnership also allowed Condat and Malmenayde to invite at the inauguration of the exhibition their customers, printers of the region, to make them share this unique exhibition in Europe in a building of the Renaissance period dedicated to the graphic heritage.
