The European Commission Praised Condat’s Commitment To Environmental Protection At The Emas Awards 2011
For the 2nd year running, Condat was nominated for the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) Awards organised by the European Commission, in the “Large organisations” category.
Organisations from the public and private sectors – recognised as being the most commendable for their environmental management and performance – competed against one another for the EMAS Awards 2011. The award ceremony was held near Cracow on 17 November 2011.
This tribute is also the occasion to discover a new book that not only unites many of Roger Excoffon’s creations, but also presents a number of previously unpublished works. Put together in collaboration with several renowned actors from the world of graphic design and with Condat, a company forming part of the Lecta group, this book has been printed on 135g and 350g Condat Matt Périgord paper.
Condat, a company forming part of the Lecta Group, was nominated in the “Large organisations” category.
A European EMAS registered organisation since 2005, Condat has successfully passed the regular audit of its environmental management system and has effectively provided information about ongoing performance improvements, particularly in relation to water and energy savings.
As a nominee, Condat received an award for its manufacturing plant’s commitment to driving down water, energy and raw material consumption, waste generation and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as for its engagement with other interested parties in bringing about ongoing performance improvements. |
