"Sustainable development, what for?"
Condat partners the association, GoodPlanet.org

Condat, France's leading coated paper production site, supports the educational project "Sustainable development, what for?"

For the second consecutive year, Condat has decided to partner the association GoodPlanet.org by helping it to obtain the 145 tons of paper it needs to produce the educational kits to be distributed in schools.
The paper chosen is Condat silk 200 g/m² certified 100% PEFCtm, the best type of paper to produce the desired quality for the posters to be printed. PEFCtm certification provides the guarantee that the fibres used in the manufacture of this paper come from forests that are well managed on the basis of environmental, economic and social criteria.

Condat, a subsidiary of the Lecta Group, specialises in the manufacture of coated papers for advertising materials, art books and the press. It is one of Europe's most modern paper-making companies and has long boasted an ambitious environmental policy.
Its environmental management system is recognised and certified internationally. In 2000, Condat was even one of the first paper-makers to obtain 1SO certification. At the end of 2005, the company also registered for EMAS. These certifications give official weight to the programme of continuous improvement in relation to the environment in operation on the Condat production site located in the Périgord region of France.
